Cinema Deep Crush is Brent Arnold's latest solo record, a collection of mysterious soundscapes, surreal orchestrations, and inexplicable musical logic. This release is a departure from the usual PWI street music aesthetic, it's included in our catalogue because it is stunningly beautiful, and we'd like you to hear it.

Brent is a cellist, composer, and producer whose talents have been utilized on countless records, from rock (Modest Mouse, Sleater-Kinney, Brand New, the Go-Betweens), experimental (Eyvind Kang, Project W), to collaborations with Filastine.

Cinema Deep Crush is a collection of (mostly) solo works created since the turn of the milennium, recorded in a variety of studios, apartments, basements, and other places in Seattle, New York, and London. Brent's cello is prominent but he also plays another dozen or so instruments including the er-hu (Chinese 2-stringed fiddle), toy piano, and Post World Industries' resident pump organ.
